THIRD ACT DATING!

My recent book and online course called THIRD ACT DATING have led to my entry into a whole new field: the senior dating game. Both were created to help senior singles get back into dating after going through a divorce or the death of a spouse.

I wrote the original book after my partner died and I was left wondering if I would be alone forever. My research into dating showed that more older people want to date than I’d imagined. As I got deeper into the topic, I decided to write a guide for seniors since I was always getting calls from friends asking how I managed to get a successful relationship at my age.

I’d been single for a long time before and enjoyed dating during that period. I’ve even had a few failures but quite a bit of success, especially with online dating. By the fifth call, I thought, Why not pass my knowledge along to others?

Teaching senior dating classes was a natural outgrowth of both the book and the online course, since I believe that seniors deserve to have equal access to the tools needed to get back into the dating game.

I also got certified in relationship coaching, which I now offer to seniors interested in finding the right partner.

Of course, I began to think about creative ways to combine my new field and my story telling. The result is a play, called, guess what, Third Act Dating, which will be performed under the directorship of Brenda Porter at the Academy Theatre in Atlanta in April 2025.

It's still amazing to me that my 30 single years dating, combined with the loss of my partner, eventually brought about positive results — including my marriage to a wonderful man in late 2024. Life is fascinating, indeed, if we keep turning over the rocks!
